About OMXHub — AI Tools & Productivity Platform

The project started from a simple observation: Arabic-language coverage of AI tools is either machine-translated from English articles or thin listicles copied from one site to the next, with none of them ever updated. Arabic readers deserve a source written from scratch, where what gets written about has actually been used, and where the unflattering parts get said when they need saying.

OMXHub is not only a directory, either. Half the platform is tools you actually use — the PDF and image utilities — because the principle we build on is that every page should help you finish something, not just read about it.

How we review tools

Every review on this site is written by hand and updated regularly. We do not generate reviews automatically, and we do not publish a page about a tool we have not opened. AI moves fast enough that pricing and plans change within weeks, which makes reviewing an ongoing commitment here rather than a one-time event.

We assess every tool on six fixed axes:

Real testing — we use the tool on an actual task before writing about it.
Features — what the tool genuinely does, not what its marketing page promises.
Pricing — the plans, the limits, and what changes when you upgrade.
Strengths — where it beats its direct alternatives.
Weaknesses — we write the drawbacks as plainly as the benefits.
Best use cases — who this tool is specifically right for, and who it is not.

The scores you see are editorial — our own judgement, not visitor votes. That is why we publish no aggregate rating and show no stars implying a crowd that does not exist. The day we offer real visitor ratings, they will appear under their correct name.

Privacy is not an add-on

The PDF and image tools on OMXHub run entirely inside your browser wherever that is possible. Your file is not uploaded to our servers, does not pass through a third-party service, and is not stored anywhere — the processing happens on your machine, and the result is produced there for you to download.

This is an architectural decision rather than a marketing promise: there is no upload server in this project at all, no user account, and no daily limit. Every tool is built on capabilities already in your browser, which is why we could not see your files even if we wanted to.

And where something genuinely cannot be done in the browser, we say so rather than quietly building a version that uploads your files. What we actually collect — and what we do not — is set out in ourprivacy policy.

Our mission

Helping Arabic users discover, compare, and use AI tools with trustworthy editorial content.

Every decision in this project is measured against that sentence. It is why we write the Arabic and English versions from scratch instead of translating one into the other, why we refuse paid placements that would reorder a list, and why we would rather ship one finished tool than ten unfinished ones.

Who is behind it

OMXHub is an independent project, created and maintained with no outside investment and no sponsor steering the content. Its only funding is optional reader support through Ko-fi. There is no advertising and no affiliate link on any page, and support never buys a place in a list, changes a score, or keeps a drawback from being published.
