Can I compress more than one file at a time?
Yes — that is the whole point. Pick any number of PDF files and we compress them one after another inside your browser, then hand you the results in a single ZIP archive under the original file names. Each file is processed separately and its outcome appears the moment it finishes.
What happens if one of the files can't be compressed?
We leave it in your archive exactly as it is and tell you plainly: "unchanged". A plain-text file is already close to its smallest possible size, so there is nothing left to squeeze. The tool guarantees that no file ever comes out larger than it went in.
Why do some files show no saving?
Our compression works on the images inside the file — they carry most of the weight. Text-only files and vector graphics are already small, and a file whose images were already compressed hard has little room left to save. Every file gets its own verdict instead of one blanket "done" for the batch.
What if one of the files is password protected?
We skip it and note that in your results list, and it does not appear in the archive. Remove its protection with the PDF unlock tool first, then add it to the batch. A protected file is not corrupted — we simply cannot read its contents to recompress its images.
Does the text stay selectable and searchable?
Yes. We recompress only the images inside each file — text, links and vector graphics are never touched, exactly as in the single-file PDF compressor.
Are the files uploaded to a server?
