Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from the Split PDF tool?
Split asks you to type a range like 1-3,5 — faster when you already know the exact page numbers. Here you see a preview of every page and click the ones you want, which is better when you are hunting for a specific page inside a long document.
Do the extracted pages keep their quality?
Yes. Each page is copied verbatim from the original with its text, images and fonts intact — nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed, so the result is pixel-identical to the source.
Does the new file follow the order I clicked in?
No — pages are saved in their original document order regardless of the order you selected them. If you need a different sequence, extract first and then rearrange the result with the Organize PDF tool.
Why do very large files show no previews?
Previews are rendered for documents up to 150 pages. Beyond that we show page numbers only so the browser stays responsive — selection and extraction still work exactly the same.
